So you think you don't like green tea?

So, you think you don't like green tea?   I hear this all the time.  Green tea is bitter, it's grassy, it's something people only drink for health because it doesn't taste good. I used to love it and then I had it prepared badly and it pushed me away from it for years.  Last summer I received a loose leaf green tea in a sampler and I made myself try it again.  I took care to brew it well, referring to Google numerous times to make sure I didn't screw it up.   And you know what?    I discovered that green tea isn't so bad.  In fact, it can be pretty good BUT you have to steep it well.  Green tea is one of those teas that truly need a bit of "snobbery" in order to make sure you don't have a bitter brew, regardless of whether it's a bagged tea or a loose leaf.  If it's done right, you don't need to mask the flavor with other flavors.
